Fairtax Fundamentals

Fairtax offers two different types of commodity tax services: Accounts Payable (A/P) data analysis reviews and targeted “issue” based reviews.

While most firms fall into one category or the other, Fairtax is a unique hybrid of the two. Fairtax meets the diverse needs of Canadian public and private industry by providing a suite of services that might include any combination of the following:

	the application of specific issues including unique tax recovery approaches developed by Fairtax and successfully pursued through the courts
	the performance of A/P reviews using sophisticated data analysis techniques
	the review and analysis of audit results and/or CRA policy and interpretation
	the review of commodity taxes paid and remitted to identify and quantify potential liabilities
